[Mortality and life span of able-bodied population in Russia: methods and results of studies].

: The article deals with methods to analyze mortality and life span of able-bodied population, including mathematical modelling methods. These methods helped to analyze changes in mortality, to evaluate life span in able-bodied age interval and damage caused by certain death causes. The authors revealed major trends in mortality of able-bodied population in Russia over the recent decade.
