The Mass Consciousness of Russian Jews and Anti-Semitism

1995
It has now become possible to speak of anti-Semitism; there is no longer censorship on this issue. But it is still extremely difficult to discuss the Jews themselves, their psychology and behavior, which unquestionably differ from the psychology and behavior of Russians. The fact is that although anti-Semitic censorship on this issue no longer exists, there is self-censorship, associated with a fear of anti-Semitism. To talk about the differences between Jews and Russians is terrifying, for any conversation on this topic can easily be used by anti-Semites.
