The invention discloses a geographic-information system (GIS) and general packet radio service (GPRS) technology-based remote metro construction inspection and management system, which comprises a management system server, an application server and at least one patrol mobile inspection device, wherein the management system server is used for storing data related to the metro construction inspection and management; the application server is used for preparing an inspection route, a patrol inspection plan corresponding to each inspection route and patrol inspection filling options of each patrol inspection plane item; and the patrol mobile inspection device is used for inspecting the construction site according to the check lines, the inspection plan and the inspection filling options which are customized by the application server and preset in the mobile inspection device, filling the patrol inspection options, generating reports and transmitting the reports to the system server. In the system, the metro construction is inspected and managed by utilizing the GIS- and General GPRS technology-based remote metro construction inspection and management system consisting of the management system server, the application server and the mobile inspection device, so the efficiency and quality of inspection management are greatly enhanced.
