Exacerbation of Cushing's disease during pregnancy
1983
FERTILITY rarely occurs in Cushing’s syndrome and only 25 cases of Cushing’s syndrome associated with pregnancies have been described.* In most of these cases, the hyperadrenocorticism was diagnosed after conception, and baseline and dexamethasone suppression tests were available only during pregnancy and post partum. Thus, one cannot be sure whether the pregnancy antedated the development of Cushing’s syndrome in these cases. This paper reports on a woman with Cushing’s syndrome
