STUDI PENGGUNAAN ANTIBIOTIK SEFAZOLIN PADA PASIEN FRAKTUR TERBUKA DERAJAT II (OPEN FRACTURE GRADE II)

ABSTRACT STUDY OF CEFAZOLIN IN OPEN FRACTURE GRADE II PATIENT (Research at Regional Public Hospital of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang) Juniarti1, Hidajah Rachmawati1, Didik Hasmono2 Pharmacy Education Program, Faculty of Health Science, University of Muhammadiyah Malang Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University Background : Open fracture grade II is defined as an condition with discontinuity of bone structure accompanied by damage to the structure of the skin and tissue under the skin characterized by open wound > 1 cm. Open wounds can lead to infection characterized by an increase leukocyte levels. Prophylaxis antibiotics recommended to treat infections in patients with Open Fracture Grade I and II is antibiotic cefazolin. Cefazolin is the first generation of Cephalosporin that active to against gram-positive bacteria. Objective : A study to know the pattern of cefazolin usage in Open Fracture Grade II patients at RSSA Malang Method : Retrospective observational in Open Fracture Grade II patients at Regional Public Hospital of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang on January 2016 – December 2018. Result and Conclusion : The result of 22 samples show that the most common pattern of prophylaxis is Cefazolin (1 x 2g) iv in 13 patients (46%) in the first surgery. The most common pattern of single therapy is Cefazolin (3 x 1g) iv in 17 patients (78%) and the most common of combination therapy is Cefazolin (3 x 1g) iv + Gentamicin (2 x 80mg) iv in 1 patients (4%). The most switch pattern is Cefazolin (3 x 1g) iv ( Cefadroxyl (2 x 500mg) po in 2 patients (30%). Keywords : Cefazolin, Open Fracture Grade II, Inpatients
