The application of the macro, submicro and symbolic levels of chemical concept representations (chemistry triplet) at all levels of education is an essential part of teaching and learning chemistry. It is necessary to understand how students can translate the chemistry triplet in solving specific problems. Chemical reaction is one of the fundamental concepts in chemistry education and combustion is a specific example of it.
