Research on Life-cycle Comprehensive Low-carbon Benefits of Wind Power Generation from Distribution Planning Perspective

2020
Wind power is a kind of clean energy and wind power generation has the features of rich resources, clean and renewable, etc. So, it has enormous potential for low-carbon development. For the study of low carbon efficiency brought by wind power generation, this paper focuses on the characteristics of carbon emission and economic, considering both negative and positive factors about low carbon and economic. Carbon emissions (reduction) characteristics and economic benefits are analyzed from wind power benefits, wind power costs, the net loss improvement efficiency and spare capacity costs of four parts based on life-cycle concept and corresponding benefits analysis model is established. Then the comprehensive wind power low-carbon benefits assessment model is proposed by combining low carbon characteristics with the economic benefits of wind power. The concept of the carbon compensation time is also proposed. An example with practical operating data verified the validity of the evaluation model and methods proposed in this paper. The analysis results show that the wind power has great advantage in low-carbon, compared to conventional power generations.
