Fanout kinoforms designed by conjugate gradient method

Fanout kinoform is designed with conjugate gradient method. We introduce a cost function for guiding the design of fanout kinoform and evaluating its performance. The effectiveness of conjugate gradient method in the design of fanout kinoforms has been supported by the model design of the elements that produce an array of light spots with periodical or specified nonperiodical structures. The calculation results show that the designed fanout kinoforms can satisfactorily match practical requirements.
