There are many challenges that businesses have to overcome to satisfy their consumers or attract new customers. Therefore it is necessary to develop profiles to identify factors affecting current and future demand. This process requires an analysis of actual, reliable data from reliable, free-access sources. Lacking such information, it was necessary obtain data through studies carried out by companies themselves. We now have data reported by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses and socioeconomic studies carried out by various national universities among others. Given that any interested person can access the socio-economic figures; it can be possible to optimize the use of resources at the national level, in particular in the Canton of Milagro in order to meet the financial objectives of the organization or design and implement new and innovative strategies to exploit opportunities in the market. The article concludes by presenting recommendations, product of the reading and analysis of the socio-economic figures, which may be considered on the basis of commercial criteria, identifying characteristics of the current consumer to thus satisfy their needs.
