Granulomes extravasculaires de type Churg-Strauss, nodules cutanés multiples et périartérite noueuse associée au virus de l'hépatite B

We report the case of a patient with biopsy-proven periarteritis nodosa, associated to hepatitis B virus (HBV) antigenemia. Presenting symptoms were arthralgias, myalgias and cutaneous necrotizing vasculitis with a nodular pattern, involving extensor surfaces of arms and legs, hands, feet and the face. Cutaneous biopsy revealed Churg-Strauss type extravascular necrotizing granulomas. The association of HBV induced periarteritis nodosa and cutaneous Churg-Strauss granuloma has been rarely reported.
