The piezoelectric ceramic composition which has an electromechanical Kopplungsbeiwert k wherein the main component by the general formula (Ag and that at least one of the following, namely, a manganese oxide or a silicon oxide, contains as an auxiliary component, wherein the manganese oxide is present in an amount of not more than about 5 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the main component and silicon oxide in an amount of not more than about 5 parts by weight is present per 100 parts by mass of the main constituent.
