Evaluation of nutritional status and nutritional therapy of patients with kidney transplant during operation

Objective As modern surgery advance,a lot of patients with theorgan function failure were given new life by the organ transplants.Among of having the organ transplants,the num ber and the rate of succeed of kindey transplant were at best.The nutritional status of patients with kindey transplant were very poor.In this study,The nutritional status and the effect of nutritional therqpy of 48 cases with kindey transplant during operation were estimated.Before peration all patients s with kindey transplant were treated the dialys is.The average year of 48 cases were 43.4±9.1 yr,among 43 male and 5 female.The nutritional status of were vealuated by the physical examination and the biochemical assay.There were malnutrition very seriously,As the body weight,the rate of malnutrition was 66.7 per cent,and the TSF was 54.2 per cent.The Body Mass Index were accord with the body weight.Serum total cholesterol was normal,and triglyceride and apo-a were higher.The haemoglobin and lymphocyte were lower and the retinolbinding protein were higher,however,the serum total protein,albumin,the essential amino acid was lower,and homocysteine was higher.The contents of serum calicum,sodium and potassium were normal,and phopsphate was higher.After operation,all the patients were given nutritional therapy,properly.At 14 days of operated,all index of nutrition status of the 48 cases were improved markedly.The results suggest that the malnutrition is serious before operation patients with kidney transplant and the succeed operation of kidney transplant can mend effectively the nutritional status of the patient.
