Study on Microstructure Control and Mechanical Property TA15 Alloy Large-scale Whole Frame Die Forging

The forging microstructure and uniformity control is critical to the development and research of TA15 alloy large-scale whole frame.In order to control the microstructure and uniformity of the forging,the microstructure of pre-forging material was analyzed,and then the modifying structure forging was applied,the reasonable profile and manufacturing process of the billet was designed and stricting control to die forging process was also applied.The mechanical properties of the forging part were studied.The results indicat that the comprehensive properties of the part reach the product design standard and requirements.
