New current balancing and power factor improving scheme

This paper describes the main properties of a new scheme for current balancing and power factor improving of two unbalanced loads. The scheme employs a forced switching two-phase inverter whose switching output voltage is achieved with PWM modulation. The proposed configuration has safe and reliable operation, permitting furthermore to minimize the harmonic interference transmitted to the network. In the first part of the paper the operating principles of the scheme are carried out and in the second one a possible control strategy is described.
