Vibration Performance of a Power Electronic Transformer Under Different Phase-shift Modulation Methods

This paper presents an experimental study on the vibration characteristics of a 2 kVA ferrite transformer under different switching frequencies and phase-shift modulation methods. The results show that the vibration signal of the core is concentrated at a multiple of the switching frequency. The vibration acceleration values at different positions of the core are obtained under the same excitation. What’s more, the optimization of the phase-shift modulation method can reduce the vibration of the core to a certain extent.
