Protective Effect of sh-hnRNP-E2 Retrovirus on Model Mice with 32D-P210 Cells-induced Leukemia

2011
Objective To investigate the protective effect of sh-hnRNP-E2 retrovirus on model mice with 32D-P210 cells-induced leukemia. Methods Mouse model of chronic myeloid leukemia(CML) was established by intravenous transplantion of transformed 32D-P210 cells into C3H mice, and identified.32D-P210 cells were infected with retrovirus sh-hnRNP-E2 for 24 h then transplanted i.v.into female C3H mice. The protective effect of sh-hnRNP-E2 on model mice with CML was observed. Results The C3H mouse model of CML,with in vivo colonization of transformed 32D-P210 cells, was successfully established. The pre-infection of 32D-P210 cells with retrovirus sh-hnRNP-E2 promoted the granulocytic differentiation of 32D-P210 target cells, and prolonged the survival period of model mice significantly. Conclusion The infection with retrovirus sh-hnRNP-E2 showed significantly protective effect on model mice with CML,which might be served as an effective strategy for in vivo treatment of CML.
