Method and system for performing interactive update on multimedia data

The invention provides a method and a system for performing interactive update on multimedia data, and relates to a multimedia data playback technology, in particular to a technology supporting a playback receiver in making an interaction request during playback of the multimedia data. According to one aspect of the invention, the method for performing the interactive update on the multimedia data comprises the following steps: receiving an interaction request specific to recorded multimedia data; receiving a feedback given specifically to the received interaction request; determining locations of the interaction request and the feedback in the recorded multimedia data; and combining the interaction request and the feedback to the recorded multimedia data according to the determined locations.
