Effect of magnesium and carbon on the ductility of alloy KhN56VMTYu

1. To ensure ductility of alloy KhN56VMTYu in the original condition (before VAR) the alloy should contain 0.006–0.015% Mg. 2. Carbon lowers the ductility of the cast metal. To obtain ingots without heat cracks and ensure the necessary ductility, the alloy must contain≤0.06%C.
