Distribution of Sediment in Large Reservoirs

Two methods of predicting probable sediment distribution; one is basically mathematical, other is mathematical procedure developed on basis of actual experiences; area in which additional study is needed to evolve procedures that will give consistently reliable predictions of sediment distribution under varying conditions is pointed out.
