Research on the characteristics of punch movement during squeeze casting

In order to understand the motion state of the squeeze process in the squeeze casting equipment, the variation of the motion parameters about punch was analyzed in the KDJ-250T squeeze casting machine. Using wavelet transform method to realize two-layer wavelet decomposition for punch’s motion parameterss, and a probability model is established based on the maximum entropy theory. The results show that the acceleration of punch has obvious randomness and the probability model can describe the randomness well. The acceleration of punch can better reflect the motion state of squeeze process, and can be used as an evaluation index to study the reliability of the squeeze function.
