Utilization of miscanthus and development strategy.

Miscanthus,as a kind of biomass energy,it has unique advantages for development and utilization,and it has drawn extensive attention in Europe and America.Miscanthus sinensis is a plant widely distributed,very rich in resources,but our research in this field is basically blank.At present,the study on this kind of plant is in the ascendant,it is necessary for Chinese Government and relevant research institution to pay attention on the development and utilization of Miscanthus.Guangxi Autonomous Region is rich in Miscanthus,the cultivated Miscanthus has the advantages of fast growth,high yield and lower cultivating cost and etc.,it has a broad prospect for the development of Miscanthus.
