Tripeptide derivatives of general formula (I) wherein R1 represents H, -C (O) -R 6, -SO 2 R 6 or -C (O) -XR6 R2 and R4 independently represent (CH2) n-NH2 or (CH 2) 3 NHC (NH) NH2, n equals 1-4, R3 represents C1-C4-alkyl linear or branched which is optionally substituted by hydroxyl, R5 and R6 independently represent hydrogen, ( C1-C24) -alkyl, optionally substituted C2-C24-alkenyl, optionally substituted optionally substituted phenyl, optionally substituted phenyl or 9-fluorenylmethyl-C1-C4-alkyl, X represents oxygen (-O-) or -NH-; or XR5 with X = O also represents the esters of a-tocopherol, tocotrienol or retinol, with the proviso that none of R1 to R5 represent hydrogen and X oxygen simultaneously, nor that R 1 represents a-metoxiacrilo, R2 and R4 (CH2 ) 4-NH2, X oxygen and R 5 methyl simultaneously.
