Progress in animal models of Campylobacter jejuni infection

Campylobacter jejuni is a global concerned zoonosis pathogens.It can cause humans and animals a variety of diseases if being infected.Animal models are the foundation of doing research on pathogenesis,vaccine evaluation and drug development.Considering the feasibility,economy and repeatability of animal models of fastidious bacteria infection,Campylobacter jejuni has no appropriate animal models yet and its pathogenesis is not fully understood.This article will describe the progress in research on experimental animal models of Campylobacter jejuni infections.
