EXIT Chart Analysis of Higher Order Modulation Schemes in Molecular Communications

This paper discusses and compares the performance of existing modulation schemes in diffusion-based molecular communication systems by means of extrinsic information transfer chart and bit error rate analysis. Additionally, a new modulation scheme called variable concentration shift keying is introduced with proven advantage over conventional concentration shift keying in terms of bit error rate performance.
