Hyaluronic acid-containing aqueous formulations which are thickened

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyaluronic acid-containing aqueous formulation which is thickened.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a hyaluronic acid-containing aqueous formulation which contains 0.1-5 wt.% of boric acid as a free acid. Thereby, it is thickened more than the viscosity of the hyaluronic acid-containing aqueous formulation which does not contain boric acid, and the viscosity after a lapse of days is also decreased. Preferably, a hyaluronic acid is sodium salt. Preferably, an aqueous formulation contains 0.001-0.5 wt.% of the hyaluronic acid. Preferably, the pH of the aqueous formulation is 5-7.5.
