A new four parameter method for SIF determination

ABSTRACT This paper deals with the development of a new four parameter method for the accurate determination of Stress Intensity Factors using photoelasticity method. The method has been successfully applied to a wide variety of crack problems and it was found that the SIF values determined by this new method are in close agreement with the analytical results.
