The influence of heat treatment and irradiation temperature on neutron-irradiation embrittlement of molybdenum and TZM alloy

1984
Abstract The influence of heat treatment and irradiation temperature on irradiation embrittlement is studied in arc-melted molybdenum and TZM alloy neutron-irradiated at high temperatures to a fluence of about 10 25 n/m 2 (~1 dpa). The DBTT's of stress-relieved materials are in the range of −150°C to 50°C but those of recrystallized materials range from 150°C to 500°C.
