KERJASAMA KOTA BANDUNG DENGAN KOTA KAWASAKI DALAM MEWUJUDKAN GREEN CITY AND SUSTAINABLE REGION

Bandung city is one of the cities tha is active in implementing the sister city paradism. Bandung city already chose Kawasaki city as a sister city cooperation partner in several sectors including green palnning and design, green open space and green waste. This research is descriptive qualitative. The concept used to describe how the city of Bandung and Kawasaki collaborated the concept of paradiplomacy and green city. Regarding data relates to this used literature studies through book, journals, theses, and online interview. This result of this study indicate that in realizing a green city, the city government of bandung and the city of Kawasaki have involved the private sector, that is Japan International Cooperation Agency and Japan environmental Sanitation Center. There are three main programs in this collaboration, including green planning and design, green open space, green waste. The program has fulfilled 3 out of 8 green city attributes according to the OECD cities program.
