Background
Trigeminal schwannomas are rare tumours accounting for 0.07–0.36% of all intracranial tumours and 0.8–8% of intracranial schwannomas. Symptoms and signs of these lesions depend on the site of the tumour, which may compress the nerve of origin or adjacent nerves.
