Automatic control of centrifuge loading in urea dewaxing process

1. Feasibility has been demonstrated for control of centrifuge loading through an intermediate parameter, i.e., the slurry levels in the contactors. 2. The centrifuge loading control system, with a simultaneous and equivalent change in level, makes it possible to maintain a given phase ratio. 3. When a specific ratio is maintained between solid and liquid phases, the quantity of solid phase that is discharged will characterize the volume of slurry fed to the separation operation.
