Fluctuations in a gas flow with a shock wave

The influence of a shock wave on gasdynamic fluctuations in a flow is examined. The numerical model of this phenomenon is based on the Euler equations and contains some elements of statistical methods. New qualitative results concerning the change in the intensity of fluctuations of flow variables after the passage of a shock wave and their correlations have been obtained. The results obtained are analyzed and compared with some well-known theoretical results of statistical physics.
