Стоматологические аспекты гипофосфатемического рахита. Клинические случаи

2017
The article deals with dental status of three patients with hypophosphatemic rickets (HPR). This pathology poses a complicated task for dentists. The HPR often causes the death of the pulp in the intact primary and permanent teeth. Inflammatory processes usually are asymptomatic and lead to the large areas of bone tissue destruction and the loss of teeth. The article presents the data on using the method of digital imaging fiber-optic transillumination (DiFOTI) as well as the modern radiographic method of cone-beam computer tomography (CBCT) to find out hidden carious lesions and enamel defects in the patients with HPR.
