Method and Apparatus for Checking Problem in Mobile Communication Network

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for diagnosing an abnormality in a mobile communication network. According to one aspect of an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for diagnosing an abnormality in a mobile communication network comprises: a data analysis unit receiving a control plane message for a predetermined service, provided to a terminal by a predetermined communication company, from the terminal, and analyzing the control area message; a database collecting, from the data analysis unit, an analysis result of each control area message of a predetermined service, provided to the terminal by a plurality of different communication companies including the predetermined communication company, and storing an analysis result of a control area message for each communication company; and a control unit comparing the analysis result of the control area message of the predetermined communication unit, which is analyzed by the data analysis unit, with the analysis result of the control area message for each communication company stored in the database to determine whether there is an abnormality in the control area message of the predetermined communication company. The present invention is able to detect a cause of an abnormality rapidly and easily.
