The invention relates to a far ultrared knitted fabric and a production technology thereof. The far ultrared knitted fabric is an elastic fibril fabric of pure cotton yarn and lycra, has the normal emissivity of far ultrared rays: 0.79-0.84, the heat transfer coefficient: 4.5-6.8 W/m.s, a clo value: 0.75-0.86, a heat preservation rate: 48-55 percent, and the air permeability: 5.1*10-5.9*10 m/s. The production technology of the far ultrared knitted fabric comprises the following steps: weaving, dyeing and roughing a grey fabric and padding the roughed fabric in rolling liquid, wherein the rolling liquid rate for roughing is 70-90 percent, and the rolling liquid contains 20-40 g/L of far ultrared finishing agent and 30-50 g/L of softening agent; then, drying at a temperature of 80-110 DEG C; and framing and finalizing at a high temperature of 150-180 DEG C. The fabric has higher far ultrared emission capability, soft hand feeling, favorable ventilation property, hydroscopic property and uniform elasticity and can be widely applied to knitted underwear, bedding articles, medical hygiene and healthcare articles.
