DESIGN STRATEGIES VERSUS NolwICAL OPTMIZATION FOR AN- CIRCUITS

A design environment allowing to design, analyse and optimize analog building blocks, such as amplifiers, OTA's, voltage reference, etc..., has been developed. The relative merit and disadvantages of numerical optimization versus analytical design strategies are discussed.
