Vacuum sealing drainage in regeneration of intractable wound surface

Objective To understand the effect of vacuum sealing drainage in treatment of complicated and refractory wound surface.Methods Vacuum sealing drainage was used to treat complicated and refractory wound surface(20 cases).Time and replacing frequency of vacuum drainage,healed pattern of wound,healed situation of free skin grafting and shifting skin flap grafting were observed.Results Replacing frequency of vacuum drainage was from 1 time to 4 times.In 1 week after vacuum drainage,the wound surface reduced in 17 cases(85%).Patients of healed wound surface were 6 cases(30%) and 14 cases(70%) respectively in free skin grafting and shifting skin flap grafting.Conclusion Vacuum sealing drainage can ensure successful rate of skin flap grafting in the treatment of complicated and refractory wound surface.
