Frequency-domain Dual Component Computation Diversity Design for Air-ground Integrated Mobile Communication

2020
In this paper, a frequency-domain dual component computation diversity (FDC-CD) scheme is proposed based on generalized hybrid carrier (GHC) system. It is used to improve the transmission reliability and diversity gain of traditional orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. By introducing GHC into the diversity algorithm, the energy distribution of the transmitted signal is averaged, and the forward component and the reverse component after transformation are backup to each other, thus improving the anti-fading capability of the system. In this paper, the principle and signal processing of FDC-CD are explained, and the simulation analysis is given under the typical channel. The simulation results show that the FDC-CD algorithm can improve the BER performance by more than 3dB at $10^{-3}$ and diversity gain by more than 0.40. The improvement is more obvious in the channel dominated by multipath fading.
