Memory management method based network division

2009
A memory management method based on a mesh generation meshes a system physical memory according to a main memory mesh generation rule layer by layer till a final usable unit is the minimum data unit for application. A series of insertion and deletion operations to a linked list manages a hierarchical network unit. The steps of meshing the physical memory layer by layer by the main memory mesh generation rule comprise: dividing the physical memory into a plurality of different level secondary storage meshes according to one-dimensional mesh layer by layer, dividing each layer of secondary storage mesh into two parts of mesh description information and data body except for the minimum distributing mesh; managing the physical memory of a computer system by using a layer by layer subdivision mode of a single list and the physical memory. Using the minimum recording length for application programs as a distributing unit, a series of insertion and deletion operations to the single list for maintaining the memory mesh relation finish the application and releasing works to the memory storage space for the application programs, and reach the purpose of reducing the memory fragmentation andimproving memory use ratio and application process efficiency.
