New Naphthalene Derivatives from Heliotropium ovalifolium Forssk

New naphthalene derivatives 4,7,8-Trimethoxy-naphthalene-2-carboxylic acid and 6-Hydroxy-5,7-dimethoxynaphthalene-2-carbaldehyde were isolated from the aerial part plant of Heliotropium ovalifolium Forssk. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of various spectroscopic methods.
