Spatial and Temporal Variations of Microcystis Aeruginosa and Their Influencing Factors in Bosten Lake

The Microcystis aeruginosa was investigated in Bosten Lake from May 2012 to November 2012 and January 2013. Then the Spatial and temporal variations of Microcystis aeruginosa and their influencing factors were analyzed. The results showed that: (1)The density of Microcystis aeruginosa in Bosten Lake is relatively low because of the mineralization, and take a small proportion in phytoplankton. (2)The Microcystis aeruginosa increased gradually in September and October, and reached the maximum value 1183.88 ind./L in November, while the density of cells in other months was only about 1ind./L.(3) The density of Microcystisaeruginosais higher in the eastern area of Bosten Lake than that in the western area, and the concentration of nitrogen and the wind might be the influences.
