The invention discloses a method for extracting pectin from tobacco waste by utilizing a flash extracting technology. The method comprises the following steps: preparing an HCl solution and adding the tobacco waste into the HCl solution to obtain a mixture; transferring the mixture to a traditional Chinese medicine flash type extractor, crushing and extracting for 5-20 minutes, and filtering to obtain a turbid solution; performing suction filtration on the turbid solution, removing filter slag to obtain pectin crude extracting liquor, adding active carbon to discolor the pectin crude extracting liquor, and cooling for later use; and washing with absolute ethyl alcohol to obtain white pectin, drying the pectin in vacuum to obtain grey-white pectin, and crushing the grey-white pectin to obtain a product. According to the method for extracting pectin from tobacco waste by utilizing the flash extracting technology disclosed by the invention, a mixed solvent is not required, the cost is low, the environmental protection is facilitated, and the obtained pectin is high in yield and high in purity.
