Vegetable cultivation medium based on water hyacinth residue, and preparation method thereof

The invention belongs to the agriculture field, particularly the plant cultivation field, and more specifically relates to a vegetable cultivation medium based on water hyacinth residues, and a preparation method thereof. Aiming at the problems that resource utilization of water hyacinth is simple and extensive both at home and abroad and additional value of product is low, the invention discloses the vegetable cultivation medium based on the water hyacinth residues. The vegetable cultivation medium is composed of a mixed fermented material of the water hyacinth residues and pig manure, vermiculite, perlite and peat. According to the invention, the vegetable cultivation medium is obtained by creatively using a mixture of the water hyacinth residues and pig manure as a basis, and adding vermiculite, perlite and peat, thereby increasing additional value for the resource utilization of the water hyacinth. Not only is the utilization problem of the water hyacinth solved, but also the formed cultivation medium has rich nutrients and is beneficial to plant growth.
