Панкреонекроз – основная причина летальности при перитоните у умерших вне стационара

The purpose of this study is to analyze mortality in patients who died suddenly with acute surgical pathology of the stomach exposed mortem examination in Ulyanovsk regional bureau of forensic medical examination in the last 5 years. Clinical material analyzed 81 patients who died, died outside the hospital. These patients were selected randomly from among all patients who died of peritonitis. Age of the patients was from 27 to 81 years, including 60 years of age was in 26 people (32.1%) and those aged 60 years and older were 55 patients (67.9%). These data indicate that the problem of acute suppurative destructive diseases of the abdominal cavity is very urgent, especially in the elderly. Of the 81 patients with peritonitis, cause of death in 63 patients (75.4%) or fat hemorrhagic pancreatic necrosis, 9 (11.1%) acute adhesive intestinal obstruction in 3 (3.6%), acute destructive calculous cholecystitis. Surgical complications of ulcerative colitis were observed in 2 patients (2.5%), mesenteric thrombosis was detected in 4 (3.8%) died. Only 1 (1.2%) patients died from stomach ulcer stenosis etiology of chronic pancreatitis, acute appendicitis and perforation of the small intestine foreign body. Conclusions: The main cause of death in patients with peritonitis who died outside the hospital was fat or hemorrhagic pancreatic necrosis. Self-neglect and seeking medical help due to alcoholism or age-related changes in the body is the cause of death of patients at home with acute surgical abdominal pathology.
