Surface Antigens of Subpopulations of Mitogen-Stimulated Human Lymphocytes

1984
The events leading to the stimulation of B lymphocytes are not yet well characterized. In addition to the specific role of surface immunoglobulin, a variety of receptors and antigenic molecules, of cellular interactions, and of proteolytic reactions has been recognized to participate in the regulation of B lymphocyte activity. The present studies were initiated to learn about quantitative and qualitative changes of surface structures during B lymphocyte differentiation and plasma cell formation.
