Increase of the functional role of population social protection in economic development

An integrated estimation of population social protection is given in the article and its functional role in economic development of the Russian territories is defined. The aggregated index of population social protection is offered on the basis of the individual indexes displaying level of incomes, unemployment, social and economic differentiation, a state of health, demographic loading, population formation of various regions of the country.
