Segmentation of Retinal Blood Vessels by Multi-scale Feature Extraction and Fuzzy Segmentation Methods

A promising method to segment retinal images is presented that combines previous work on multi-scale feature extraction together with fuzzy segmentation and image ho- mogenization. Our results are encouraging because they have less computational cost for the region growing process than that for the multi-scale feature extraction method.
