Manejo del riesgo que generan los taludes de la quebrada La Seca, del municipio de Envigado. Risk Management that Generates the Hillside of the Stream La Seca of Township Envigado.

The near hillside to the riverbed of the stream La Seca of Township Envigado (Antioquia), which can generate mass movements or torrential avenues because of tamponed putting at high risk to the community of sectors El Trianon and Las Antillas. In this article, is pretended to do a case study to identify the problems and deteriorating those of neighboring hillside to the riverbed of the stream. To do this, an approach regarding operation and preservation of these hillsides, awareness to community, enterprise and public sector, especially local government, the environmental authority (Corantioquia) and relevant agencies, the urgent need to conducted the interventions to prevent the continued deterioration of its hillside and thus reduce the risk and exposure of people to possible any natural disasters, socio-natural and anthropic. The anterior, which involves a detailed examination and conscious to the new Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial (POT), that allows to determine risk areas of the municipality, for which greater importance is given to withdrawals, green cover, forest, areas protection and if is necessary the relocation of human settlements.
