Intelligent lawn mower and control method thereof

The invention relates to an intelligent lawn mower and a control method thereof. The intelligent lawn mower is provided with a shield used for protecting life bodies. The intelligent lawn mower comprises an induction device used for inducting intensity of outside light rays and sending out induction signals, and a control device used for receiving and processing the induction signals sent by the induction device so that the shield can be opened or closed according to the induction signals. According to the intelligent lawn mower, the induction device is arranged to induct the outside light rays and sends the induction signals to the control device, and the shield is opened or closed according to the intensity of the outside light rays. At night, the induction device does not induct the outside light rays or induces the weak outside light rays, the shield is closed, and the intelligent lawn mower enters a night working mode and can cut grass on boundary lines of a lawn. Due to the fact that at night, people, animals and other life bodies have few activities, the hidden dangers of cutting the life bodies by the intelligent lawn mower without the shield are reduced.
