아동보호서비스 실무자들의 사례관리 수행 과정에서 경험하는 어려움에 관한 질적 탐색

2020
This study aims to explore difficulties experienced by child protection services (CPS) workers while carrying out case management work. For this purpose, we interviewed a focus group of 14 case managers to investigate their experiences with case management practice and identified specific themes on case management difficulties confronted by CPS workers. The five main themes and 12 ancillary themes have been drawn from the qualitative analysis. The five main themes include ‘Clients Wanting to Hide Their Naked Faces’, ‘Parents Who Are the Key to Change but Unwilling to Change’, ‘Difficulties Resulting from Managing High-Risk Family’, ‘Different Goals, Lack of Collaborations’, and ‘Struggling and Burn-Out’. Implications of the findings to policy making and case management practice in the CPS were discussed.
