PROPAGAÇÃO DE PORTA-ENXERTOS DE VIDEIRA (Vittis sp.) SUBMETIDOS AO TRATAMENTO COM ÁCIDO INDOLBUTÍRICO PROPAGATION OF VINE ROOTSTOCKS (Vittis sp.) TREATED WITH IBA

The grapevine culture is economically important, and the incidence of pests and diseases leads to a constant search for new rootstocks and their means of reproduction, with the purpose of supplying the producers’ demand. With this aim in mind, we studied the effects of a quick immersion of grapevine rootstock cuttings in 3000 mg L -1 IBA, presently stratified in an outdoor sand bed for sixty days, in Ponta Grossa, PR. We used rootstocks of the grapevines VR 043-43, IAC-766 (Campinas) and X1. All the rootstocks, treated or not with IBA, took root, with the exception of 043-43, when not treated. The treatments with IBA had a positive influence in the number, length and weight of the roots.
